In this course you will learn the techniques, methods and theories of how to set (stand) for a shot, and the often unconscious movements of the ‘second set’.
There are many considerations to make and many situations that may influence how we ‘set’ and movements that make up the ‘2nd set’.
In this course we look at the generic set position and 2nd set movements we should use when in a common shot stopping situation.
We look at the variations, the considerations, we address the common issues and explain why each individual element is so important.
This step by step guide will allow you to not only grow in confidence yourself but give you the knowledge to help your goalkeeper or child.
From taking an in depth look at the technical aspects we then show you how these techniques are used in our masterclass training sessions. Tony Parks brings a wealth of knowledge throughout his masterclass working with a group of grassroots goalkeepers.
